We had a great stay. Hanging around the fire ring just outside our door was a treat. Friendly and accommodating staff. The rooms are a little dated but well maintained. It’s a beautiful location and I’d be happy to visit again.
We just stayed at Lake Owen Resort for a nice fall weekend and it was amazing! Everything from the cabin, to the owners, to the duck that thinks he’s a chicken. Outstanding. We will definitely be back. 10/10 recommend if you’re looking for a nice cabin on a lake up north for a weekend (or longer) getaway!
Have been staying at Lake Owen Resort for the last 10 years. We have stayed in different rooms and the suites are wonderful for families. Was able to see some of the remodeling and it is beautiful. Introduced our grandchildren to Lake Owen last year and they just love it. The owners James and Heather are perfect hosts, and overall wonderful people.
Clean and comfortable…spartan, yet in a location so beautiful that is the least of your concerns as nature and the relaxing park-like lakeside setting is a more impactful luxury.
What a beautiful resort. The beach is really nice. The grounds are safe and quiet and peaceful. The owners and staff were so kind during our whole stay. The price was really reasonable. Will be staying here If I’m up this way.
We stayed in the Apartment at the resort and it was perfect for my family of 4. It had everything we needed to be comfortable, make meals, and a great outside lake view sitting area. The owners are super friendly and helpful. There are fire pits and swing benches to enjoy the view and outdoors galore. The lake is so clear! You won’t believe it! We are already planning our next visit to this secluded lil hideaway.

We really enjoyed our stay. Clean, cute basic rooms at a great price and the property is beautiful and well maintained. The diving in Lake Owen is great and the lake is so quiet. Beautiful, relaxing spot. Highly recommend!
